In the aftermath of Infinity War, we're all going to need something light and fun to take our mind off of things. How about a third Guardians of the Galaxy movie? Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was confirmed last year after Vol. 2 made such a killing, and James Gunn recently said we’d probably get to see it as soon as 2020. A release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Chris Pratt says Vol. 3 will start production sometime next year.

While wishing Pom Klementieff, a.k.a. Mantis, a happy birthday on Instagram, Pratt mentioned that he “can’t wait to start shooting Guardians Vol. 3 with her next year.”

I doubt Marvel can vet ALL of its celebrities’ social media pages, but this information seems legit, mostly because it was posted a day ago and Disney hasn’t told Pratt to delete it yet. Guardians Vol. 3 will take one of three possible spots in 2020 that Marvel Studios snatched up a while back, and while we have no idea what the plot could be (or how the characters will deal with that devastating ending to Infinity War), we do know that Adam Warlock will be in it. Probably.
