Christina Aguilera Will Return to ‘The Voice’ + Cee Lo Green Still Negotiating

It appears as if the original vocal coach panel will be reuniting for Season 5 of The Voice on NBC this fall. The Wrap is reporting Christina Aguilera has signed on the dotted line and will earn a $12.5 million paycheck for Season 5. That is down from the $17 million she earned in Season 3. Christina took a break from Season 4 to focus on her music and her latest album, "Lotus," which didn't produce a hit and she looks to make a return to reality tv.

Cee Lo Green hasn't confirmed his return to the singing reality competition show as he is still in contract negotiations with the network. In addition, both Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are in contract negotiations, too, but are expected to return according to inside sources.

Since Christina has signed her contract, Shakira will be stepping down and could appear as a judge in future seasons and if Cee Lo signs his contract, Usher will be stepping aside for his return.
