Cityfest East Texas Is Happening October 5th and 6th

Downtown Tyler is going to be transformed into one big two day free festival this weekend.

Record breaking crowds are expected in downtown Tyler this weekend for Cityfest East Texas. This event has been in the works for two years and all that planning is coming together and culminating in a huge free festival on the square in downtown Tyler and along the streets to the west.

Cityfest East Texas features live music, a family fun zone, action sports demonstrations and messages of hope in Jesus Christ. Gates on the free event open at 4 p.m., there will be many vendors on site along with food trucks and a lot of activities for the family that has support from more than 400 local area churches.
