Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon Is Aug 8 & 9

When it comes to providing premier healthcare to our East Texas children it is up to all of us to support and help bring an extremely high level of care to the area not just for our children but for our friends, relatives, and neighbors' children too.

Mix 93-1 and CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital are proud to bring the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network radiothon to life on Mix 93-1 Thursday and Friday, August 8th and 9th.

Mix 93-1 and CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital will be asking for your support by donating to the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon to support pediatric services and to help to improve the lives of East Texas children.

During this special two day radiothon, Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry will be joined by Mandee Montana and bringing you some stories of some incredible East Texas children who have overcome some overwhelming obstacles in their lives along with playing the hit music that you love to hear on Mix 93-1.

Thanks to your prior support of the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon, you have helped to provide funding for some highly advanced and technologically advanced equipment for East Texas children.

During the radiothon, you'll hear about some special children who have overcome some terrifying odds in their lives and are now they're thriving. While we talk about these special children, unfortunately, we'll update you on some of them who might have lost their battle with their terminal condition. Thanks to your support though, you helped improve their quality of life as they fought a valiant fight.

This year's radiothon will be Thursday, August 8th, and Friday, August 9th.

It kicks off each day during The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and continues until 6 p.m.

East Texas continues to see the need for premiere medical care for our children. From the pediatric floor to the emergency room, to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), to the clinics, to the ball fields and neighborhoods medical care is needed every day.

Every single dollar that is donated to the radiothon will go on to be used in many different ways to improve life - whether it's used to purchase equipment to treat children in:

an emergency room setting
a pediatric clinic
a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
Flight For Life transportation
ambulance service
pediatric unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital
special needs clinic
and other areas of the hospital

As we introduce you to these special children and their families, we will ask you to call in and support the Children's Miracle Network through a donation.
