They may be known as the funny couple in Hollywood, but there is nothing funny about their recent announcement. Comedy's golden couple Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have announced that after nine years of marriage, they are calling it quits. And no, this isn't a story line to another one of their comedies, it's the real deal.

The stars are each known for their separate comedic shows, but they have also done numerous movies together as a couple. Poehler started out as a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live', and now stars in the hit 'Parks and Recreation' while Arnett stars alongside Christina Applegate in 'Up All Night'. Together they have starred in movies such as 'Blades of Glory', 'Horton Hears A Who' and more.

The two married in 2003 after meeting through a mutual friend. They also have two sons together - 3-year-old Archie and 2-year-old Abel. While details of the split have not emerged yet, sources say the split is very amicable and the main focus is what is best for their two sons.
