The winter storm that has brought freezing rain, sleet and some snow to East Texas has caused some area school districts to cancel or delay the beginning of classes for Friday.

Now that a good portion of East Texas has dropped below the freezing mark and the freezing rain, drizzle, sleet and snow continue to fall, what accumulates on the streets will most likely cause dangerous driving conditions in the morning.

East Texas school districts have taken a proactive measure and have made the following decisions when it comes to classes for Friday, February 4th.
