Fast Growing Texas Based Store Brand Coming To Lindale
Look Out Buc-ee's, Another Texas Based Gas Station Is On The Rise In The Lone Star State.
We all know the story of Buc-ee's and is rapid expansion outside of Texas over the last few years but a few Texas based brands are starting to expand quickly inside state lines and one of the fastest growing brands is coming to East Texas.
The Texan Stores was founded by Pete and Patricia Dlugosch of Yorktown, Texas.
The first store was built from the ground up in the owner’s hometown of Yorktown and was completed in February of 2008. It was the first of its kind for the small town. The store was the largest and most spacious convenience store around with parking for trucks and fast and fresh food service according to its website.
By the end of 2010 the company acquired two smaller convenience stores in Yorktown, Texas and converted them to the Texan brand. 2014 was a big year as they ventured out of Yorktown to build what was then their biggest store yet in Three Rivers, Texas.
Now The Texan Stores Brand Has Over A Dozen Locations.
The City Of Lindale announced that the company will be build its newest store at the northeast corner of I-20 and Harvey Rd., with construction slated to begin in late 2024. The City of Lindale says they anticipate a 2025 grand opening.
We've seen for years that East Texans have been begging for a Buc-ee's but instead, The Texan Stores should be well received by locals and travelers and maybe a better option than the insanity of "Beaver-Mania".
