If you have ever wondered if your area is prone to disaster, there is a new risk assessment tool you should know about. FEMA compiled a ton of data to make one interactive map showing the vulnerabilities of every part of Texas and the U.S.
While studying the map I noticed not all counties are the same color. Dark blue is best for maximum security and safety from all kinds of threats.

Only One Texas County Has A Very High Rating On New FEMA Map
Compared to the rest of the U.S., Harris County has been rated Very High and is in the 99.97 national percentile for risk. According to FEMA, Harris County, which includes Houston, Texas, is one of the riskiest places to live in the country.
