First Look At Jamie Dornan + Dakota Johnson Cast Of ’50 Shades of Grey’ [PHOTOS]

The first photos of the lead cast members from 50 Shades of Grey were released today in
Entertainment Weekly. See Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson cast as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in this first peek of the two together.

The casting process has been subject to much debate as many readers of the novel had cast their perfect leads in their own minds. Many hoped to see Matthew Bomer and Alexis Bledel cast in the roles, but Dakota landed the role of Ana and at first Charlie Hunnam was slated to play her 'megalomaniac CEO'.

Once Charlie said, 'laters baby' to the role of Christian due to a demanding television schedule with FX's Sons of Anarchy, the studio scrambled to the fill the role. Jamie Dornan, former Calvin Klein underwear model and the Huntsman from ABC's Once Upon a Time is the new Christian Grey.

The story line between Ana and Christian began as a Twilight Fan Fiction piece based on the characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen created by Stephenie Meyer, E.L. James later reworked the piece into the novel and followed it with 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed creating the trilogy.

Casting changes have now led the studio to push back the release date from Summer 2014, but stow your twitching palms the film will arrive on Valentine's Day 2015. Take a look at the chemistry between the two in their first photo shoot. What do you think?
