Chill in Downtown Tyler for a gnarly night at Heart of Tyler’s ninth annual Black Tie Bingo gala. The fundraiser has the theme of “Totally Awesome 80s” this year.

Experience The 80s all over again complete with Rubik’s Cubes, Pac Man, big hair and MTV. The featured activities of the evening are four “high stakes” games of bingo with great prizes and late night dancing to the Tuxedo Cats. Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in a game of Heads or Tails with a musical twist as well.

The event is set for Saturday, Aug. 13, from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on the third floor of the KLTV Building at 200 N. Broadway.

“We are so excited that Susan Robinson Fine Jewelry is opening a downtown location,” said Bingo Chairman Ingrid Young. “For our chance drawing prize, Susan Robinson is donating a 60” white fresh water cultured pearl necklace with a pair of Waterford Crystal Lismore wine glasses, perfect for the Material Girl, valued at $2000.”

Tickets are $100 per person, and all net proceeds go to support Heart of Tyler, Inc., which is the community’s only non-profit organization completely dedicated to downtown revitalization. Heart of Tyler also serves as an advisory board to the City of Tyler.
