Fall is officially here and this weekend (November 3rd) Daylight Savings Time will arrive where we will turn our clocks back one hour for an extra nights sleep.
However, for some people with the days getting darker triggers Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which is a form of depression.
According to Yahoo, experts say SAD is a type of depression that is experienced more at particular times of the year, which makes them sufferers could feel persistently sad, teary, guilty, and even hopeless.
They could even lose interest in activities they even enjoy, even socializing or having sex (Oh the horror), but some say the lack of light is the culprit for SAD and if you add the holidays, which can leave people feeling sad, rather then happy and joyful.
Regardless of SAD, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, as for years people have turned to herbal remedy St. John;s Wort to increase their mood, and even more during the winter or you can always consult a physician.
