Vehicle issues are the worst, especially ones that could end up getting you a citation if you’re caught in Texas. We all use and abuse our vehicles daily; they are a necessity to get back and forth to work and all the other places we need to go. There are things that are going to fail on our vehicle overtime, but which ones are technically illegal in Texas?

While vehicle issues can be a major annoyance to us as the vehicle owner, it really boils down to safety. I can promise you that no law enforcement officers wake up just hoping to catch someone for a safety violation so they can write a ticket. That seems very petty, and our law enforcement officers have more important things to do, although they do need to bring these safety issues to our attention. So, if you get pulled over, remember to be nice, it’s your best chance to avoid getting a ticket.

Safety Issues Will Get You Pulled Over Quickly

The reason I wanted to point out these violations specifically is because they stick out to law enforcement, and they are all quick ways to get pulled over. While it might sound goofy, you might want to do regular safety checks on your own vehicle, so law enforcement doesn’t have to inform you of any violations.
