I'm Excited to See the Red Not Chili Peppers Friday Night

I've always been a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Suck My Kiss to Under The Bridge to Otherside to Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie fill my playlist. But I had no idea there was a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band. They are called Red Not Chili Peppers and they will be in Lindale Friday night and I'm super excited.

Red Not Chili Peppers are the number one touring Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band. When you get a look at the band, every member has a striking resemblance to the actual members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially the Flea and Chad Smith impersonators.

They have several videos on YouTube and they sound great. This is video from a 2019 show performing Scar Tissue.

The guy impersonating Anthony Kiedis really has his mannerisms and voice inflections down pat. The Flea impersonator seems pretty good, too, which is essential to the vibe of the band.

My all time favorite Red Hot Chili Peppers song is Otherside. I would be really disappointed if I don't hear this Friday night. This song is a banger:

Obviously, nothing can compare to the real band but reviews are very positive. Red Not Chili Peppers will be at Brisket Love in Lindale Friday night, April 23.
