Pink Flamingo Taco Shop Is Moving to Tyler, and Taco Fans Are Ready

Pink Flamingo Taco Shop is bringing its tacos, tortas and aguas frescas to Tyler, with plans to open a new location at 3709 Troup Highway, Suite 100, in the former Oliveto building. The announcement has East Texas taco fans talking, but the move also means Winona is losing its original location. An opening date for the Tyler restaurant has not yet been announced.

While I haven't had a chance to try their tacos myself, I have heard great things about the location they were located on US-271 in Winona, TX.

What's on the Pink Flamingo Taco Shop Menu?

As it says in their name, they make lots of tacos, but the menu doesn't stop there. You will find giant tortas, quesadillas, fajitas, burritos, salads, nachos, tostadas, and a large variety of aqua frescas.

Winona Is Losing Its Pink Flamingo Taco Shop

Obviously, there is a lot of competition within Tyler when it comes to tacos, but it seems like people are pretty excited about the new location for Pink Flamingo Taco Shop. The unfortunate news is that the previous location in Winona has shut down as they move everything to this new location in Tyler. And the locals in Winona definitely wish they could keep both locations open for business.

When Will Pink Flamingo Taco Shop Open in Tyler?

The announcement is still new, and unfortunately there is no date set for when the new location will be open for business but when I drove past it last week it looked like people were working to get the new location up and running quickly.

Have you visited Pink Flamingo Taco Shop before and if so, what was your favorite thing on the menu? I would love to hear from you in the comments or send me an email at billy.jenkins@townsquaremedia.com.
