One of my favorite things about living in Texas is all the pride you see as you drive around, you'll often see both the American flag and the Texas state flag flying proudly. Many people have worked hard for decades to make the state of Texas what it is today. But do you know what each point of the Texas star represents?

While some people have ideas to make the state better, compared with the rest of the country, we are fortunate to live here in the great state of Texas. I have to admit that while I'd always noticed there were five points on a Texas star, I didn’t know that they each had a specific and important meaning.
