Jennifer Beals Says No To DWTS

Although she starred in Flashdance, Jennifer Beals tell People Magazine that she has no interest in competing for the famed Mirror Ball trophy on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, she says,

"I am not a dancer.  They asked me and I said 'no.'  You could back up a truck to my door filled with cash and I wouldn't do it."

When her friend Marlee Maltin was competing on the show not too long ago she knew then she didn't want any part of the show and said to her,

"The sound of the audience is so loud and the energy in there is so intense.  I wanted to start crying just in feeling for her.  I joked with Marlee and said, 'You don't know how lucky you are you can't hear this.'  The noise level is so intense and people's excitement level is so intense.  I could never.  I'm not that kind of a performer."

Jennifer is starring in the new Fox show The Chicago Code.

The next season of Dancing With The Stars returns Monday, March 21st on ABC.
