The winning continues for Jeopardy contestant, James Holzhauer.

Holzhauer now has logged 28 straight wins, bringing home $130,222 in his most recent victory. Yes, his total is climbing. He's now amassed over $2,000,000.

The professional gambler is getting closer and closer to Ken Jennings' record. Currently Ken Jennings holds the record for the most amount of money on the quiz show. His total earnings add up to $2,520,700. Jennings was on the show in 2004.

Fast forward 15 years, and Holzhauer is chasing him down, but not in a competitive way. Jennings called Holzhauer's run "phenomenal," adding, "Welcome to the $2M club, James."

Jennings' streak went for 74 wins, so Holzhauer has a way to go with 28, but he appears to be going strong. His approach is different than Jennings as well.

"He's thinking about the game in a whole different way, and I never would've had the stomach to make some of those bets he's making,'' Ken Jennings, "Jeopardy!" legend, told Natalie Morales on TODAY in April.
