Katy Perry Announces Tour Dates

Katy Perry made the announcement about her California Dreams Tour on her Facebook page yesterday using Facebook Live (the streaming channel for Facebook).  Her tour will kick off in Europe next month and the tour will be in the US by summer.

She said the tour is going to be super interactive and incorporate Facebook's Facebook Places to "check in" while at a show and you might receive specials and maybe attend meet and greets too.  Twitter might also be incorporated into the show some way too.

The California Dreams Tour has 3 stops in Texas:
July 28th at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie (Dallas metroplex)
July 29th at the Toyota Center in Houston
July 30th at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin

During the live chat on Facebook yesterday, Katy Perry said she'd be taking her grandmother, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday, to the Grammy Awards on February 13th.  Katy is also performing on the show.
