Labor Day Sales in Tyler and Longview – Our Top Five

When it comes to Labor Day we no longer focus on the accomplishments that we as workers have made throughout the year, but how much money we can save going to a 'Labor Day Sale', but I guess that's an accomplishment because you're saving money! That's good to do in this economy.  Wal-mart's facebook could give you a sneak peak on sales sometimes there are deals on the facebook that they don't have listed any where else.

Labor Day also mean getting to the pool or the lake and hang with friends as the summer winds down and doing that means you'll need some supplies. Whether its sandwich meat, a float, another swim suit or a case of water to cool down on the hot East Texas days, I always find that Wal-Mart has the best prices. Especially on the summer swim stuff because they are trying to clear the shelves to put out the Christmas decorations!  So when you get the sun tan lotion, go ahead and grab your Christmas cards and maybe a star tree topper too!  Happy Shopping.

I look forward to Labor Day sales because they are really sales! My favorite store for deals all the time is Marshall’s! Marshall’s is known for carrying big label names at really great prices! But around Labor Day, the prices get really great! Marshall’s has designer clothes for the entire family, shoes, lingerie, items for the entire house! You have to look through all the merchandise, but when you find that ‘sweet’ deal, you know it was worth the effort! I prefer Marshall’s over the ‘other’ discount stores because it’s cleaner, more organized and has tons of things to choose from. I look at shopping at Marshall’s as a hunting expedition, searching for the elusive Ralph Lauren jacket!!! So if you don’t mind a little work and effort, Marshall’s can really help you keep more money in your pocket! Happy shopping!

Every Labor Day I love -- LOVE -- LOVE to shop at Dillards. There is always a great selection of great shoes for me -- and great selection of clothes for my daughter.
