Just another reason we are fortunate to live in Texas, all the amazing wine that is produced here. While lots of people will always think of Napa Valley, California as Wine Country. There are so many fantastic wines that are created here in Texas maybe it’s time to hand that “Wine Country” title over to the Lone Star State. 

Before I go any further, I must admit that I am not a gigantic wine fan. While I have found a few that I enjoy sipping on, for the most part I am much more of a beer drinker. Although I can still appreciate all the work that goes into the wine made here in Texas. And there are plenty of people that I know and love that enjoy going wine tasting or just opening a new bottle.

The great thing about Texas is you don’t have to go far to find some amazing wine. Although I have heard that the Texas Hill Country has some of the best wine in the state and some would say the entire country. So, if you have a chance, make the trip to the hill country and do some wine tastings there.
