Lucky Larry Carves Two Jack-O-Lantern’s In 33 Seconds [VIDEO]
Carving pumpkins can be time consuming, but thanks to time lapse video it can be done in around 30 seconds!
This past weekend while out and about, we passed by a church selling pumpkins for their youth group. They had quite a few left so I decided to pull in there pick out a couple of big ones and carve them up with my daughter because we hadn't done that in a couple of years. When you decide to carve a pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern for Halloween, you'll need to set aside some time because there's a lot of work that goes into it! You've got to clean the guts out, know your design ahead of time and have patience when it comes to cutting it up!
Before we began my daughter grabbed her phone and decided to do a time lapse video of us creating these jack-o-lanterns! She's been into this time lapse thing here lately and I thought what the heck, go for it! We both already knew what we wanted our end results to be, we just had to get there! My daughter was really into it, she loved cleaning the inside and pulling out all the seeds and guts (something a lot of people don't like to do!) She then went ahead and drew her design on her pumpkin and I was cutting out the top of mine and once it was open, she was wanting to scrape it too!
I began cutting away at her design and then it was soon time for me to carve away at mine while she worked on one more thing for her jack-o-lantern and before you know it we were done! And just like that we had two carved pumpkins to greet the trick or treaters on Halloween night.
Thanks to the time lapse video, you can see me carve these orange guys up in 33 seconds!
For some weird reason, she was wearing reindeer antlers that she found in her room! Kids! You've gotta love them!
