Mercury is in Retrograde Don’t Start Anything New

Something most people don't know about me is that I have an interest in Astrology. It doesn't control my life, but it does offer insight into the overall energy of the moment, and right now the energy says don't start anything new.

The planet Mercury goes into a retrograde motion three times a year, and its most recent turn started on January 21. For three weeks, it's best new projects are put on hold, and new contracts are thoroughly reviewed before signing.

I'm a big believer that our intuition is nearly always right. Most people just aren't very in touch with their inner voice or conscience. As Mercury rules communication and travel in astrology, the retrograde motion can cause delays and wreak havoc on your plans.

It's a good time to reach out to old friends and family and reminisce. It's not a great time to begin new projects without careful planning and review.

The good news is this frustrating occurrence lasts only three weeks, Mercury goes direct on February 12th just in time for Valentine's Day.
