5-year-old Bobby Rogers of Rusk is headed to Walt Disney World. Bobby is a member of the elite Kidd's Kids group!

He and his family will be headed to Walt Disney World on Thursday, Nov. 19 to make some very special memories with his mom and dad and big sister during an awesome trip to Disney.

Bobby has a chronic illness due to Tetralogy of Fallot and a ventricular septal defect. According to the Mayo Clinic, Tetralogy of Fallot is a rare condition that is caused by a combination of four heart defects at birth. In children, though, this defect is often corrected through surgery which will allow them to live pretty normal lives.

Bobby also has a ventricular septal defect which is a hole in the wall separating the two lower chambers of the heart, causing his heart and lungs to work a bit harder.

Bobby is a kindergartner at Rusk Primary School and looks forward to hanging out with Mickey Mouse because he loves his big ears! At 5years old, Bobby is looking forward to the Disney experience and wants to ride anything he can and to see the Lion King show.

When it comes to listening to The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, Bobby and his family enjoy listening to Big Al the most because he's funny, down to Earth and tells it straight.

Bobby's dad Robert says his son is a thinker and he takes pride in everything he does. If Bobby is faced with a difficult situation, he thinks his way through it and make good decisions (most of the time!).

Bobby will be joined by his 10-year-old older sister, mom and dad on the trip. His sister is looking forward to meeting Olaf and other Frozen characters, while Bobby's parents are looking forward to their children experiencing the magic, heart and imagination of Disney. Those three things get their minds going in a more positive way expanding their minds and encouraging them to reach their dreams.

Bobby's big sister told The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show she is looking forward to sharing the experience with her little brother and wants to savor all the time she has with him and not take time for granted.

Thanks to generous East Texans, your donations via text, online and in person on Kidd's Kids Day is making this once in a lifetime trip possible for Bobby Rogers of Rusk.
