A Historic Milestone Reached During CMN Radiothon

Honestly, it's rather impressive. When it comes to supporting kids and pediatrics East Texans really show how much they care for children.

This past Thursday and Friday Mix 93-1 hosted the 26th annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon raising funds for pediatric services at Christus Mother Frances Hospitals and clinics throughout East Texas. For two days, East Texans called in their donations and pledges to bring premiere care and equipment to East Texas to care for kids in the NICU all the way to 18 years old.

Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana along with CMN Miracle Kids, their families, doctors, nurses, hospital support staff, and East Texas families that have benefited from the services that the Children's Miracle Network provides our children asked you to call in and make that donation or pledge and when the phones finally stopped ringing, our 26th annual radiothon raised

$42,168.00

This was a special year too because when you combine the totals from this year with the previous 25 years and add them up, East Texas has donated:

$1,001,345.00

That's over a MILLION DOLLARS in 26 years. A total that is impressive and Mix 93-1 and the Children's Miracle Network are extremely proud of.

Every donated dollar will be used to purchase valuable healthcare equipment for children at Christus Mother Frances Hospital and clinics throughout East Texas. Those funds will help the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the special needs clinic, the children’s center, the mother unit, ambulance services, emergency room services, clinics, and more.

Mix 93-1 would like to say thanks to the many volunteers who helped make this year an amazing one.
