To me being miserable just isn’t an option. If you’re not happy with where you are in life or the decisions you have made, change them beginning immediately. Only you create your future, so it’s up to you to start creating what you want now. And the only way to change something you don’t like is by taking action, so it’s all up to you. Which is why the survey of most miserable cities in the U.S. caught my attention, especially with a Texas town coming in at number two.

There were certain key factors that went into deciding which cities were the most miserable. Some of those metrics include population change, the number of people working, median household income, the percentage of people without health care, average commute times, and number of people that are living in poverty.

Texas is NOT the Most Miserable State

According to Business Insider and their metrics the most miserable state would be California with 10 cities in the top 50. New Jersey wasn’t far behind with 9 miserable cities on the list, followed by Florida with six cities on the list.

Remember if Your Miserable to Ask For Help

If you’re feeling miserable and don’t know how to change things, it begins with asking for help. You don’t want to just stay in misery, no one does, if you are not happy try to make changes. If you’re not able to do so, ask for help so you can make your situation better. Taking no action will leave you in the same situation you’re in now, let’s work toward improvement.
