Munster Mansion Homage Stands in Texas

Sandra and Charles McKee are such big fans of the 60's TV Sitcom, The Munsters, that they recreated the Munster Mansion as their own private home in Waxahachie, TX.

Each room featured in the television show can be seen in this house, but not year round. The McKee family does live in the house, and it can only be seen during their annual open house event, by invitation or though a private tour.

Private tours can be booked through the family's website featuring their home MunsterMansion.com. It might be worth the trip just to greet spot, who does live beneath the staircase.

Photos of the interior rooms which have also been painstakingly decorated to fit the sets from the series can also been seen on the site. You'll recognize the dining room, Eddie's room and the living room draped in cobwebs and featuring memorbilia pieces from the set.
