One Direction put on a free show for thousands of 1D fans in New York's Central Park this morning and was shown on ABC's Good Morning America where they stopped by the show to announce details on their next US tour.

One Direction already have plans and shows for the UK, South America and Ireland and now they'll be here stateside with the 'Where We Are' North American Tour with he first show being August 1st in Toronto, Canada. The band will be making several stops in Texas, including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and El Paso. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Saturday, December 7th through LiveNation.

The guys will be in

Houston on Friday, August 22nd @ Reliant Stadium
Dallas on Sunday, August 24th @ AT&T Stadium
El Paso on Friday, September 19th @ Sun Bowl Stadium
San Antonio on Sunday, September 21st Alamodome

In the short time that the guys have been together, three years, they've sold more than 35 million albums and have achieved world-wide success and find it hard to appreciate everything. Louis Tomlinson told GMA's Robin Roberts,

I think it's such a hard thing to comprehend, really. Me and Zayne [Malik], we sat in the room yesterday and we had a little toast and a celebration, but it's such a hard thing to get your head around. It's just a testament to how amazing our fans are, you know?"
