Now, more than ever, I believe that people are looking for peace in their hearts in honor of the Christmas season and spending some alone time contemplating a devotional or specific scripture helps me to get into that frame of mind. With that being said, my top 10 Bible verses for Christmas I posted three years ago is already being found and shared. So, I've decided to update my list of Christmas Bible verses for 2020 because for me, Christmas is not only a time of reflection, it's a time of great joy! After all, Christmas isn't about material gifts under the tree, it's about our Father's gift, the celebration of the birth of Jesus, who died on the cross and rose from the dead, paying the price for our sins.

If you're drawn to reflection this time of year as I am, here are some of my favorite scriptures to meditate on.
