Peltier Announces Plans To Purchase Crown Kia Dealerships

Tyler and Longview's Kia dealerships could soon be under the new ownership of Peltier.

The Peltier Auto Group has made the announcement that it intends to purchase the Crown Kia dealerships in Tyler and Longview from the Crown Motor Company, which is owned by Jack King, Jr. In 2005, Peltier purchased King Chevrolet, which had been in business for almost 60 years in downtown Tyler, from Jack King.

CBS 19 states there are many details still waiting to be finalized and says the Kia franchises will remain in the area. A representative also confirmed with KLTV that a contract to purchase the dealerships had been submitted. Peltier operates the Chevrolet, Nissan and Subaru dealerships in Tyler along with the Chevrolet and Cadillac dealerships in Lufkin.
