Beasley, A Playful 9-Year-Old Great Dane Mix, Needs You
Big dogs need love too! They're just as full of unconditional love as a smaller dog or puppy and in some cases, they'll have more love for you than you can ever imagine.
The Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas has a bigger-sized dog that's patiently waiting to be adopted by you and to live out the rest of his life with you and your family.
Meet Beasley, our Pet Of The Week
Beasley has been under the care of the staff at Pets Fur People since arriving in March of 2023. He's been there almost two years and he's anxious and looking for a permanent home.
He's a Great Dane mix and around 9 years old.
He is described as an extremely sweet large boy who enjoys a lot of activities and play. So he will need a family that can give him quite a bit of attention and lots of toys that he can play with and retrieve for you.

This guy has had some training through the PetCo Positive Dog Training School. He knows some basic commands, walks well on a leash, plays well with other dogs, and is crate-trained.
One more thing about Beasley, he will need to be fed grain-free dog food.
Beasley will go home with a collar, a leash, and a starter kit of food.
For information on adopting Beasley call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.
The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
