Dallas Is Adoptable, Not The City But The Dog
Mention the name Dallas and immediately everyone thinks of 'The Big D', Dallas, Texas. However, in this case, when someone hears your call or praises Dallas, it'll be because you're calling your dog!
Dallas is available for adoption from Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas. She ended up in the care of Pets Fur People through no fault of her own. Her previous owners dumped her along a county road and expected her to fend for herself.
Thankfully she was rescued and is now looking for a new home to call her own. Dallas is a 5-year-old Catahoula mix with a beautiful leopard coat and some piercing ice-blue eyes.
Dallas is a larger-sized dog who knows some basic commands, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is super friendly and energetic. Gayle Helms, Pets Fur People's executive director, believes Dallas would fit in great in a house with older children because of her size.
Best of all, Dallas is house-trained.
Dallas will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash, and a big fluffy bed. For additional information on adopting Dallas call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
