Mocha Was Abandoned By Her Family And Left Behind When They Moved
Mocha is the perfect name for this Tyler, Texas retriever mix because of his beautiful chocolate coat. A family had adopted Mocha, but when his owners moved to a new city they left him behind.
I cannot, under any circumstances, imagine why anyone would leave a domesticated animal behind and expect it to survive on its own. These animals depend upon us for care and food. Mocha is looking forward to meeting a new family soon to call his own.
Now if Mocha wasn't already his name, he could have easily been called Hershey because of his color!
This three-year-old guy is fully vetted and enjoys the company of older children as well as other dogs and cats. Like most dogs, Mocha enjoys riding in the car with his head and tongue hanging out and sniffing every smell that passes by.
Gayle Helms, executive director of Pets Fur People in Tyler, describes Mocha as a sweet dog with a gentle disposition and says he would make for the perfect pet for your family.
Mocha will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar, and a leash. For additional information on adopting Mocha call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
