Fun-Loving Tulip Is Looking For That Perfect Family To Blend Into

Tulip would be a perfect fit for any East Texas family. A family with older kids or a new family with younger kids that she can grow up with, Tulip is going to make a perfect pet for a deserving family.

Tulip is currently at the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler and is available for adoption along with other puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats.

Tulip is a 5-month-old female Schnauzer and Dachshund mix puppy and is one of seven who is looking for their first and only family to grow up with, play with, and get old with.

She currently weighs about 20 pounds. Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms describes Tulip as a low-rider because of her Dachshund legs! So when she's fully grown she's not expected to get much bigger.

Tulip has a playful attitude about her and she glistens thanks to her shiny black coat that's matched with some gorgeous golden eyes. She has yet to meet a stranger and Gayle says the tail wags constantly!

She will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar, and a leash. For information on adopting Tulip call 903 597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
