Yogi Is Looking For A Warm & Loving Fur-Ever Home This Christmas
One of the greatest gifts you can give an East Texas shelter animal this Christmas would be the gift of a fur-ever home. Shelter dogs and cats would enjoy going home to a new place to call their own.
The Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler is spotlighting twelve different dogs during their '12 Dogs Of Christmas' and Yogi is in the spotlight now!
Yogi is a 12-year-old Great Pyrenees who has lots of life, love, and energy left to give a new family. He's been under the care of the shelter now for a couple of years.
He is well a mannered dog that is calm and takes life pretty seriously. He's also trustworthy, affectionate, and gentle, but seeing how he is a larger breed he's probably best suited for a family that has older children, mainly because of his size.
During his time at the shelter, Yogi has seen a lot of other dogs come and go while he patiently waits for a loving family to walk in the doors and adopt him just like what's happened for a lot of his other shelter buddies.
He will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar, and a leash. For additional information on adopting Yogi call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before a meet and greet can be arranged.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
