
Police Impersonator Taken Down by Tyler PD and Sheriff’s Office
(KNUE-FM) Being in law enforcement in Texas is a very difficult and demanding job on you and your family.
While it’s still a respected position by most people in Texas, there are some people that will choose to be disrespectful for one reason or another.
But most truly appreciate that our law enforcement officers are there to serve and protect.
Although there are some people that just aren’t cut out to be in law enforcement, even if they act as if they are a real officer.

YouTube Video Shows Arrest in Tyler for Impersonating an Officer
I’ll admit I was looking for something completely different when I opened the YouTube website, but this video was on the first page, and it caught my attention.
First, I noticed the Tyler Police Department logo then noticed that the video was taken at Broadway Square Mall in Tyler. So, I know it was local to East Texas.
You take the local aspect then add that it’s a crime story, of course, I was hooked and had to watch the entire video.
The Incident Began Near Chandler and Ended in Tyler
This incident took place over a long stretch of road, according to the video it seems to have first started in Chandler and ended as a Tyler Police officer pulled over the suspect vehicle for speeding in the mall parking lot.
In the end, the suspect in this case was placed under arrest for impersonating an officer.
If you ever feel like someone might be impersonating an officer, it’s always best to reach out to real law enforcement and let them know the situation so they can take action.
