It’s music festival season again! Paramore and Florence + the Machine are among the pop acts taking the stage in late August for the 2012 Reading and Leeds festivals in England.

The twin fests take place from Aug. 24-26 and feature nearly identical lineups, with bands rotating between the events. Paramore perform Friday the 24th at Reading and Saturday the 25th at Leeds, while Florence + the Machine hit the stage a day later at each venue. Florence Welch’s band looks to be a major player on the festival circuit this year. They’ll be playing Coachella next month in California, and they’re on the bill of several other European fests.

Foster the People, Katy B, All Time Low, the Shins and Angels and Airwaves are among the other acts on the Reading and Leeds lineups, which are headlined by rock giants Foo Fighters, the Cure, and Kasabian. Additional acts are expected to be announced at a later date.

The Reading festival has been going strong since the early ’70s, while the Leeds fest began in 1999. Last year’s fests featured headliners My Chemical Romance, Pulp, the Strokes and Muse.
