Feel like really letting loose this summer? Turns out there are plenty of Texas beaches that allow you to let it all hang out, literally!

First, a word about the term "beaches". We usually think of beaches as sandy ocean areas, but "beaches" are narrow strip of land separating a body of water from inland areas, and therefore can be on rivers and lakes.

According to mysanantonio.com, there are six nude beaches in Texas (in the legal-ish sense) and two of those Texas beaches ranked as top destinations for folks who prefer to swim in the buff, at least according to Hotels.com.

Remember, in most cases, you must stay within a certain area of the beach and a couple of these are a little, shall we say, "wiggly" on whether you'll get in trouble or not.  Use your best judgment and be willing to cover up if asked. And never stare or otherwise make it creepy, because that ruins the vibe for everyone.
