We expect the Azalea District in Tyler to be filled with gorgeous color in the Spring, but now you can expect it during the holiday's, too. The Azalea District 'Trail of Lights' will return for Rose City Christmas.

"The Azalea District Trail of lights began last year and was very successful," Susan Travis, Visit Tyler Vice President Tourism/Servicing said. "But this year we want to make it bigger and better than ever, so we’re asking anyone who lives or works in the Azalea District to participate by decorating their homes and businesses for the holiday season."

There are prizes for homes who participate, too. They have the opportunity to win prizes donated by local restaurants and shops including Jack Ryan’s, The Potpourri House, and many others. Competition categories include: Best DIY, Most Spectacular, and Best Reason for the Season.

I can't wait to see the illuminated beauty this Christmas Season!
