Ryan Gosling Makes Directorial Debut -- Man Crush Monday

Ryan Gosling is pretty much my all-time man crush, but today he makes the Mix list for this directorial debut set to premiere at Cannes next month.

Lost River, Gosling's first stint behind the camera, will not feature his handsome mug, but will show is eccentric side. He's known for taking diverse roles. He played the charmer Jacob Palmer in Crazy, Stupid, Love and shortly after the violent stunt driver in Drive.

As he steps behind the camera, we can expect to see a strange tale of a vanishing city. The film stars Christina Hendricks of Mad Men fame and Gosling's current leading lady, Eva Mendes.
