San Antonio, Texas Woman Killed After Refusing to Have Kids With BF
This might be one of the most tragic events I’ve heard of in a long time and it took place not far from us. The New York Post is reporting that a 22-year-old woman by the name of Jade Alyssa Alvarez was shot and killed by her boyfriend after she refused to have kids with him.
Law enforcement found her body around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 6th and officers were told by a woman who was with Alvarez the night before that her boyfriend requested that she be dropped off on Capitol Avenue which is where her body was found.
Her boyfriend has been identified as 23-year-old Adam Byrd and he has been charged with murder. But he had warrants out for his arrest even prior to this tragic incident taking place.
What Was the Suspected Wanted for Prior to This Murder?
Before this tragic event took place Byrd already had a warrant out for his arrest for two counts of aggravated robbery from a stickup that took place. After being placed under arrest Byrd admitted to the killing Alvarez after an argument about him wanting to have kids with her, but she didn’t want to have kids.
The Same Weapon Was Used in Both Crimes
Byrd went on to admit to law enforcement that he used the same gun in the robbery that was used to kill Alvarez. Byrd is currently in the Bexar County Jail with his current bond at $400,000 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We are wishing nothing but the best to the Alvarez family as they navigate this very difficult time.
