Here we go again, but then again it is spring time in East Texas. This is the time of the year when we expect storm systems to move through every three or four days, and so far this season, that trend has held up.

Our next round of potential severe weather comes today and especially late this evening into Wednesday morning. We must all be weather aware as this storm system will be moving in during our most of our sleeping hours.

KLTV 7 Meterologists Mark Scirto and Katie Vossler have declared today a 'First Alert Weather Day'. With the fast moving cold front that will be moving through late this evening into the overnight hours, in addition to some heavy rainfall at times, we also can expect some very high, gusty winds, along with some large hail and the possiblity of an isolated tornado with this storm system.

The graphics below show the threats for East Texas for this evening. Stay weather aware and if conditions warrant, we will interrupt our normal programming for severe weather updates from the First Alert Weather Center from KLTV.
