Earlier this weekend, the Metro in Chicago hosted a tribute show to the late David Bowie that doubled as a benefit for cancer research, and it drew a handful of artists to cover Ziggy classics -- including Sinéad O’Connor.

The lineup featured tribute band Sons of the Silent Age, Bowie’s former backup singer Ava Cherry and O’Connor. The former focused on Bowie’s 1976 album Station to Station but also worked in other various Bowie staples. Cherry treated concertgoers to covers of “The Jean Genie” and “Young Americans” (she appeared on the latter in 1975) and her own song “That’s How Loneliness Goes.” O’Connor followed with “Life on Mars?” and “Sorrow.” Check out clips from Cherry and O’Connor’s performances below:
