Today I celebrate yet another birthday! Birthday's around the station are celebrated with our "Happy Birthday" banner being displayed over our office door, but in my case the Mix 93-1 studio door!

Ladies, we all know we love him. And it would be unacceptable for us not to acknowledge his birthday today. Oh, and Channing, if you're reading this, we'd love for you to come visit East Texas ASAP.

We've already enjoyed the confection classic that is Katy Perry's lyric video for Birthday, but last night she released a sneak peek of the new video to be released on Thursday.

With Thanksgiving almost here, I got to thinking about how cool it would be to have my birthday on Thanksgiving. But is it really all that I think it would be?

Today is my 30th birthday. 12 years ago today, I awoke to adulthood and a happy household. A family friend had come by early in the morning to drop off two special birthday gifts. I had recently discovered art. This particular friend was well-read, had traveled the world and was starting to share her wisdom with me.

Today is my sister's 18th birthday. And after 18 birthdays, Christmases, and every other gift giving holiday, I started to run out of ideas of gifts to give her. Lady Gaga celebrates a birthday today.  Born Stephanie Germonatta, she'll be celebrating her 25th by performing on stage in LA at the Staples Center tonight. I'm sure her little monsters will sing Happy Birthday to her sometime during the show tonight...
