The Major League Baseball season is a long, exhaustive one. There are 162 games, you’re traveling hundreds of days per year and since you’re away from your wife/girlfriend for days on end, things can get a little lonely. Texas Rangers catcher Mike Napoli obviously is no exception, getting busted like this.

It was the top of the fourth inning last night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington as the Texas Rangers were taking on the Minnesota Twins when a loud clap of thunder and bolt of lightning sent players scrambling to the dugout. The lightning obviously hit very close to the stadium. You can see the interference it caused to the television signal — the cameras even shook from the force of the thunder.

Cameron Shores became an internet celeb after video of him losing a foul ball thrown by Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland to an obnoxious couple sitting next to him. This morning he took to the Today Show this morning to talk about it. This story has certainly been getting a lot of national attention after last nights (4/25) game.  The ABC news affiliate, WFAA in Dallas, has located the couple involved in the incident, and they say they were not aware of the crying toddler sitting next to them.

Check out this video of 17-year-old Trent Williams at Monday night’s (April 9) Texas Rangers game against the Seattle Mariners. He makes an impressive catch of a Josh Hamilton home run ball on the home run green at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. What he does after the catch is not as impressive, but it is funny as hell.
