A former deputy is re-evaluating his job outlook after posting a highly offensive video on Instagram, that got him terminated.

A couple of weeks back I was watching 20/20 on ABC and they were focusing on speeding cops and sheriff deputy's in Raleigh, NC and how these officers blatantly disregard speed limits and drive as fast as they want to get to where they're going without lights and sirens. The special was very interesting and worth the time to watch it but so is the following video.

Former ATF Agent Larry Smith defeated former Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Chris Green to become the next sheriff of Smith County.

You know you see those things from time to time that make you say, "Only in East Texas?"  I had one of those moments yesterday afternoon driving through Chandler on Highway 31.
