Brad Pitt’s new film is a part sci-fi blockbuster, part parental drama.

It would appear as though the 2013 awards season already has a major player in 'The Homesman,' and the picture hasn't even begun shooting yet. The film, set to be written and directed by Tommy Lee Jones (who also plans to star), is an American frontier drama with a handful of meaty roles. Today, we may know who will occupy a couple of those meaty roles: Oscar-winners Meryl Streep and Hilary Swank.

Seems kind of odd that Costner turns 56 today and his new movie 'Company Men' is being released today.  This new movie is a about a group of business men that work for a downsizing Massachusetts company struggle to find ways to cope with their new situation. The movie sports an awesome cast that includes Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Cooper, Kevin Costner and Craig T. Nelson.
