Mr. Vogt Of University Academy Is The Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week

The final bells for the 2023-2024 school year will be ringing for the last time this year on Friday afternoon at many East Texas schools. A lot of learning has taken place inside our East Texas classrooms thanks to some phenomenal, smart, extraordinary, dedicated, and patient teachers.

Our brilliant East Texas teachers do so much to improve the lives of our children and our college students as they challenge them with new concepts and ideas. Their approach inspires young minds to take flight on their own and problem solve and learn and master new things.

Teachers deserve a lot of recognition for the hard work they put into teaching our students and Mix 93-1 and White Oak ISD are proud to recognize outstanding teachers that you nominate to become the Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week.

Mr. Vogt of the University Academy At Tyler

Mr Vogt teaches computer science at the University Academy at Tyler. He was nominated by one of his students who had this to say about him:

Mr.Vogt is an outstanding teacher who always spurs the growth of his students' learning ability by teaching them computer science and encouraging productive and creative tasks such as 3d printing, laser cutting, and drawing. He also has a deep love of historical and fictional characters.
