Whether you live in Texas or just visited, you've heard some crazy stories involving ghosts or conspiracies. That's not the only weird thing you might find around Texas, for decades there have been tales of weird & mythological creatures to roam around the Lone Star State.

Which mythical creatures have been said to exist in Texas?

One of the most common creatures Texas has been said to see is none other than the infamous goat-killer, El Chupacabra. There have been a few stories of people seeing the Chupacabra around the Texas-Mexico border. About 10 years ago, in Radcliffe, Texas, a woman was even shown on the news to catch a "real Chupacabra". Other cities to have seen the Chupacabra include Amarillo & Cuero, the "Chupacabra Capital of the World".

Another huge name is of course...Bigfoot. Not the monster truck, but the giant ape man. He's been said to be spotted all over the state, whether it's in the North, South, West or East part of Texas. Although if Bigfoot WERE to be found, it might be in Jefferson, Texas. It IS the Bigfoot capital of Texas after all...

Of course those are just two of the most common ones in Texas. But there are stories of creatures that you can ONLY find in Texas. There been stories of weird creatures found in lakes, giant goat-man like creatures and even giant spiders (which I REALLY hope are NOT real).

Look for the ones you've heard of down below.
