The Backstreet Boys Could Be the First Boyband to Win a Grammy

Will the Backstreet Boys be the first boyband to win a Grammy tonight?

They are nominated tonight for the 8th time. Could they finally do what no other boyband has achieved?

Prior to this year the boys had seven nominations and zero wins. Oddly enough, *NSYNC also has eight nominations and no wins. They are currently tied for the number of nominations. Looking back decades earlier, New Kids on the Block received a nod for their music video, 'Hangin' Tough,' but did not take home the trophy either.

Fast forward to more recent years, bands like One Direction and The Wanted didn't even receive nominations. Will tonight be the night?

The Backstreet Boys have made a great comeback in recent years with their fan cruises and touring with New Kids on the Block. They released their newest album DNA on Jan. 23, and it went to the top of the Billboard album chart. Maybe, tonight is their night.

They are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Don't Go Breaking My Heart. The 14 year-old girl inside me is rooting them on! Look below at who they are up against, and you'll see a familiar boyband name...
