(KNUE-FM) Texas, just like all other states, has to deal with crimes being committed on a daily basis.

While we might not love to hear about crimes being committed in our home state, we are fortunate to have great law enforcement officers who are there to serve and protect our community each day.

Some crimes are more violent than others and while most of us expect violent crimes to be committed by adults, there are lots of violent crimes that are committed by minors in Texas.

Which is why I wanted to look back at some of the most shocking violent crimes that have been committed in the Lone Star State by people under the age of 18.

All These Crimes Involve Death

While crime stories can be fascinating, they can also be very sad.

The truth about each one of the stories we are about to learn about include the death of another person.

We are talking about families here in Texas who have lost a loved one due to the violent actions of another. It’s tragic for these families.
